Sea Escapes is a family-owned business and was established in 1993 by Bob Mikos.  Bob has over twenty years of experience in the aquatic industry.  Sixteen years ago, he opened his first store.  After the first ten years in retail, Bob and his brother Don became partners and moved to a new location in South Elgin that opened June 8th, 2002.

Sea Escapes has a knowledgeable staff, great products, and reliable customer service.  We offer several different types of services to our residential, commercial, and wholesale clients.  Whether it is a custom, specialty, or standard pond or aqarium, we can help.

Sea Escapes strives on customer service and proper education to the public.  Word of mouth, walk-ins, and our Elite Membership program is where most of our customers come from.  We are proud of the fact that they have chosen to come to us time and time again.  We believe in our products and services, and our customers believe in us.
